So yes.. horrible things do happend to us.. family members, pets.. they just don't watch where they are going!
See here, my little Greece figurine. I've chosen him as an example because he broke at the time.. and he is VERY small, proving that this methodes works on almost every figurine.
Step 1: Gather the stuff you need. You'll need:
- The broken figurine (duh)
- The broken piece
- Wood glue (or super glue, though I prefer wood glue from Pattex, it's an German brand)
- A hair dryer. All of them work
Step 2: Put some glue on your fingers, or on the broken spot. Since this is TINY figurine I put it on my fingers first to avoid it getting to much
Step 3: Dip the BROKEN piece into the glue, just a little!
Step 4: Attach the broken piece back to its original place. Hold in place (DO NOT PRESS TO HARD) and use the blow dryer on the hottest stand to dry it. Be carefull though. For both your hands and if your figurine is bootleg, the PVC might melt!
Step 5: Blow dry it for a couple of minutes.
Step 6: Done! It's perfect now!
This worked for me for 10 figurines already!
Weird, and a pain to get in that tiny hole. -_-
I also have this probleme with HRE's arm.. It stays put but with the tiniest nudge it falls off again.
Swedens sword went awfully well, and the chick on Prussias head isn't magnetic, so it keeps toppeling off...
And that's really dumb. I would have thought the chick would be magnetic. It should have! It would make much more sense.
Plus, the kitty on Greece's head should have been removable!
And I know the chick I fear the most. I often vacuum my room and I'm afaid it'topple over and fall on the floor.. what If... I vacuum it. My life would end.
